<itunes:summary>The Cathedral of HIS Glory is “different people with different backgrounds using different gifts at different places to meet different needs - all for God’s glory! The Cathedral of His Glory is not only a church; it is a “Cathedral”. The word “Cathedral” means a “large mother of churches”. The local church should be large. The church in Jerusalem had 3,000 members on the first day (Acts 2:41). It takes the resources of a great number of members to pray for and finance world evangelism! The Cathedral is a “mother of churches”. Over 100 independent churches have come out of the Cathedral of His Glory in the United States. Ministries of His Glory in Central America is supported by and under the Cathedral’s mission program. The Cathedral’s television ministry, “A Word From Glory”, reaches millions each week. </itunes:summary>

791 - Faith and the Rapture

Hebrews 10:32 - 39 (NKJV) 32But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37“For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

790 - Fig Leaf Religion

Mark 11:12 - 24 (NKJV) 12Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it. 15So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 16And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. 17Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’”

18And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching. 19When evening had come, He went out of the city. 20Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” 22So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Luke 21:29 - 36 (NKJV) 29Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 34“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

The Corporate Destiny of the Local Church
Matthew 22:1 - 14 (NKJV) 1And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’ 5But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Introduction: Once more we are studying the parables of the Kingdom, related to the second coming. And once more I want to remind you that a parable is a story with many levels. So let’s see if we can discover hidden levels in the story.

1. The Church is never spoken of as a bride and Jesus does not mention the bride in the parable.

785 - Who is Caesar? (Memorial Day)

This message is being brought on “Memorial Day Weekend.” This is the day we celebrate and remember those who have given their lives in defense of their country. But who or what is America? Is America a piece of land that is between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans? Is that what we are memorializing? Did they die in defense of “The American Way of Life.” If so, what is “The American Way of Life?” Neither answer is correct. But if I told you that most people do not know what the answer is, would that grieve you? I served this country in the United States Air Force. When I joined I had to swear – (what)…that I would defend the Constitution of the United States of America. So does the President of these United States, so does every member of congress, so does every judge. In the United States no man is “Caesar,” the Constitution is supreme!

Proverbs 3:13-18 “Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies: nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will blessed.

She is more precious than rubies: nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will blessed.</itunes:summary>

Some will come but, who will declare themselves to be the “coming one,” there will be wars and rumors of wars, “but the end is not yet.” Then “nation will rise against nation and there will be famines, pestilence and “earthquakes in various places.”

781 - True Wisdom

There are two kinds of wisdom. True and False. James, half brother of Jesus and Pastor to the Jerusalem church has defined the difference in the 3rd Chapter of his little letter to the Church. I believe it is the greatest work written on the subject. Today I would like to break it down for you because it has great relevance to our lives.

779 - And He Walked

While on this earth Jesus only rode one time:

Matthew 21:1 - 9 (NKJV) 1Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. 3And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.” 4All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: 5 “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’” 6So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. 8And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

778 - The Real Battle Ground

Matthew 26:36 - 43 (NKJV) 36Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” 39He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
